When we talk about your target market we are not talking about just anyone who can fog a mirror kind of prospect. And we each must each be perfectly clear on who the right type of prospect is, what they look like, and what they are looking for. Only then can you begin the process of attracting people who join for the right reasons.
3 questions:
• Who is your target market?
• What are they looking for, thinking about, and concerned about?
• What are their needs and what are some of their problems you can solve?
When you know the answers to these questions you can begin to attract prospects to you by following a very simple step-by-step process.
First Question
Who is your best target market when you’re selling a network marketing opportunity?
Could it possibly be people who already know they need to get involved in network marketing? Is that even possible?
The second option is try to “sell” people on network marketing and if you are successful at that, then “sell” them again on your opportunity. That is an awful lot of work if you ask me… ![]()
It would be a lot less work to attract people who already understand that network marketing is the best opportunity for their wants and needs.
Of course, there is a lot less work involved if you attract people who already realize why they need a network marketing opportunity. Because then your only job is to sell them on you.
So, what kind of person already knows that a networking opportunity is best for them?
There are several possible groups; let’s start with the largest.
People who have purchased a network marketing opportunity before.
People who have purchased a product are a good target market because they are likely to buy a similar product again. And it’s the same in network marketing. Why?
Because they already see the need. This means that about 90% of the work is done.
Also, they understand the concept and agree with it.
Have you ever tried calling leads? Pretty fun, eh?
Why do network marketers cold calling leads or talk to family and strangers who don’t even see the need for a network marketing opportunity?
Because they haven’t been schooled on these basic principles of marketing.
Sure, you can learn to ask some really good questions and help people discover why their need a network marketing opportunity, but that requires tremendous skills in communication and persuasion. It alsocreates a tremendous and unnecessary work load.
It’s far more effective to learn some basic marketing principles that will bring the perfect prospect to you.
More on this later this week…….

Who Are You Looking For?

As you create you own Internet Traffic Machine starting with your Magnetic Core (or HUBBY), one question the we must each ask ourselves is; who is my target audience?
That is a very important question. An accurate answer is even more important.
So, who is your target audience?
You must know who you are targeting in order to know who to attract them to you and your opportunity.
Yes indeed, prospects will come to you.
But before they do, you must be very clear on who you want to attract. You must be willing and able to present to them solutions to their needs or they will simply be on to the next opportunity. You must be able to scratch them where they itch. If you don’t, someone else will…
It is not all about you, your wants, and needs.
Sadly, only afew people figure this out. This too, is a critical component to your success.
Simply presenting your opportunity does not necessairly equal value to your prospect
You will have to dig a lot deeper than that…
The question you must ask and answer is; “Who will be interested in what I have to offer?” The answer to this question determines, to some extent, what type of content will go onto your magnetic Core (your blog). This content will, in turn, draw these potential partners or customers to you. Yes indeed, prospects will come to you.
So, who is your target audience?
Something worth thinking about until we continue this thought later this week…….![]()
