Have Fun Part 5

Fun and enjoyment are not things that are delivered to you like a pizza. Fun is what you make it, and in just about any situation you have the opportunity to make it. When you expect it, you’ll get it.

Yes, the world is filled with trouble and life comes with many problems. But don’t ever let that stop you from having fun. In fact, as the difficulties grow more difficult and the challenges become more challenging, the positive impact of truly enjoying yourself and having a great time becomes even more powerful.

But is it really right to be enjoying yourself while others may be suffering in misery? Well, in order to be of the most value to others you must first be the very best you can be. Enjoying yourself as often as possible, and truly enjoying what you’re doing, will help you to be your best. By enjoying yourself you’re not taking anything away from anyone else. Having fun is not selfish. Having fun is empowering, not only for you but also for those around you. When you enjoy what you do, other people benefit from your positive perspective. And fun can be infectious. When you’re having fun, it encourages others to have fun, too. When you’re in the highly positive state of enjoying yourself, you pull others up with you.

There is no good reason for you to be miserable. There are all sorts of great reasons to have fun and enjoy each minute of every day. It’s all a matter of attitude. Some people cannot truly enjoy themselves even when they’re surrounded by more richness and luxuries than most of us could imagine. Others can thoroughly and sincerely have great fun even in the most simple, meager surroundings.

You can enjoy what you allow yourself to enjoy. You can have fun when you decide to make it fun. So make it fun. Make as much fun as you know how to make. Have fun working. Have fun playing. Have fun when you’re stuck in traffic, when you’re waiting in line, when people are rude to you. Have fun while you’re doing the things that most people consider tedious and boring. Have fun when you’re facing difficult challenges. Have fun even when you’re serious.

The more moments you make enjoyable the more valuable those moments will be. Make life fun and make it great.
