Trade Shows And Conventions

We have a church that meets in a hotel/conference center. No joke! Google Springfield Calvary and be certain for your self. Pretty different place to meet. One benefit is I get to see a lot of trade shows and convention meetings. All sorts of people hold conventions. Even bloggers are having conventions. I have a few thoughts and suggestions.

Trade show booths are the mainstay of trade shows. Exhibitors use them to showcase products, services and ideas. You can let your imagination roam here. You do not have to be like everyone else

Table skirts are used for special events including trade shows. Use them! It looks tacky with all your junk exposed underneath. They attach around the perimeter of a table using special clips or just Velcro. They can be printed on to add a logo if needed and come in a variety of colors.

Signs are important in drawing in your prospects. Banner stands are also very useful advertising tools that can be set up anywhere. There are retractable versions, L shaped styles and indoor / outdoor models. Again, be different. Not crazy, but different.

Pipe and drape is used as booth dividers for trade show displays. Many other organizations use them as privacy walls and crowd control. Again, be creative. Use these resources to stand out.

This is a tough economy and market. You need to make every effort to maximize you effort and expense.
